NUCCA Public Awareness Program

Since its inception in 1941, the NUCCA procedure has helped thousands of people of all ages regain and maintain their health throughout their lifetime. NUCCA is an important part of our health care system and offers an individualized, conservative approach to healing that enhances the body's innate ability to be well. Even with so many remarkable results, NUCCA is still only practiced by a relatively small number of practitioners worldwide. However, the demand for this work is global and we are striving to increase the number of NUCCA practitioners in order to provide needed care.

The World Health Organization identifies stress as an international epidemic. Surveys show that 75–95% of visits to primary care physicians are for stress related conditions. Job stress alone is costing a fortune. According to a report from the American Institute of Stress, American businesses pay 300 billion dollars a year in job related stress expenses, a figure that is expected to rise.

Current studies also indicate that the flip side of stress is not relaxation, but resilience. The NUCCA procedure has been scientifically proven to enhance physiological adaptability and resilience, a benefit that is now more important than ever regarding our current health challenges.

NUCCA is growing, and to help inform the public about the benefits of NUCCA care and assist our practitioners in explaining the NUCCA procedure, we have developed a public awareness program with a number of tools such as videos, educational literature, seminars, and websites. We are now seeking funds to develop more comprehensive materials and networks designed to communicate with a wide community regarding the benefits of this work as well as opportunities for healthcare education. We also need funds to support an administrative staff to develop and maintain the distribution of information such as updates on NUCCA research, educational programming and available treatment centers.

Helping future generations keep a healthy balance

"The secret of health and happiness lies in successful adjustment to the ever–changing conditions on this globe; the penalties for failure in this great process of adaptation are disease and unhappiness." – Hans Selye
